Helpful Music: Casting Crowns

Lately I've been so blessed with an amazing life and I'm so happy. But every once in a while, just like most other people, I get in one of those sad, depressed moods where you just have to sit and cry it out while listening to sad music. Well last time this happened to me i decided to not listen to sad music, but to listen to Christian music, specifically Casting Crowns.
I've always loved their music. It's amazing music that you can just be alone and worship the Lord to. There are some specific songs that I like to listen to that always lift my spirits and remind me that I am a child of God and he loves me. Those songs are: Does Anybody Hear Her, Praise You In This Storm, East to West, Set Me Free, and Voice of Truth. They all have amazing, uplifting messages.
My favorites are Set Me Free and Does Anybody Hear Her because I can relate to them so well. Does Anybody Hear Her (in my opinion) is about a girl who is trying to find her way and find hope and feel loved but can't find it because she's not looking in the right place. This was something I've gone through and continue to go through sometimes. We try to find love in all of the wrong places when all we need to do is look up.
Set Me Free if my absolute favorite. My schools drama team did a human video to this song and it was so powerful. I just sat and listened to the lyrics and thought to myself "wow, this is me." The most powerful lyrics to me in this song are "It hasn't always been this way, I remember brighter days, before the dark ones came, stole my mind, wrapped my soul in chains, now I live among the dead, fighting voices in my head, hoping someone hears me crying in the night, and carries me away" and "All alone with my demons I am."
I suffered with thoughts of self harm my freshman year of high school and these lyrics brought back those memories. Because I was fighting voices in my head and I was alone with my demons. I was that girl who cried herself to sleep every night because of the voices. I remembered the days when I was happy and before I had the voices telling me that I wasn't good enough and I should just end it all. It's a hard thing to go through  But at the end of this song is says "Do you want to be free? Lift your chains I hold the key, all power on Heaven and Earth belong to me. You are free" and every time I hear those words, they remind me that I was never alone through all of that and I'm still not alone.
God is always there and he holds the key to our happiness and eternal life with him in heaven. He unlocks the chains of sin and sets us free. We just have to trust in him and live our life for him. He holds all power in his hands. Have faith in him. He loves you more than anything.

Movie Review - The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

So tonight I went to a double feature of The Hunger Games. They showed the first one and then Catching Fire after. It was AMAZING! The ending is a cliff hanger, though. I didn't read the books, but the majority of my friends did. So I'm guessing this is how the book ended. One of my friends did say that they left one scene out, but it was a minor scene. I was so upset when the movie ended the way it did. Now I have to wait another year to see the next one! People keep telling me to read the books, but I'm not much of a reader so I'll just wait.
I love the majority of the actors in this movie! Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are obviously amazing and they're two of my favorite actors. I was SO excited when i found out that Alan Ritchson and Sam Claflin were going to be in it too! Alan plays Thad in Blue Mountain State and Sam plays William in Snow White and The Huntsman and Philip (the preist) in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Catching Fire is full of all sorts of wonderful actors and also if you haven't read the books, or even if you have, it's full of suspense. I highly recommend that everyone goes to see it!

I am More.

I declare that I am More than enough. I am More than worthy of love. I know that my value is More precious than rare jewels, therefore I will only settle for God's best. I no longer live in fear because I am more than a conqueror in Him. I am thankful that I was created on purpose for a great purpose, so I will walk in integrity always. I am More and am ready to:

50 Shades of Camo

I'm so tired of people judging other people for wearing camo in public. Most people don't wear it because it's a "fashion trend", they wear it because they like it. You have colors and items that you love to wear, what makes you think people don't judge you when you wear them? It's like the whole uggs and riding boots trend. Girls get judged for wearing those boots everyday. I'm not saying camo is a "trend", I'm just saying that its the same. People get judged for wearing things they like and its not right.
Also, I'm tired of people judging those who wear pink camo. What's so wrong with it? It's cute! I'm sure 99% of people who wear pink camo are hunters and don't wear it to hunt. And even if they do, who cares! It's none of your business what others wear while hunting. So quit assuming they do wear it hunting and quit tweeting and posting stuff like "good luck hunting in that pink camo". It just makes you look rude.
I personally love regular camo and pink camo. I even like the orange and red camo and all other colors. Just because you don't like it or think people should only wear it hunting doesn't mean other people think that. QUIT JUDGING the people who do wear it while not hunting. You never know, they could've just come from hunting or are about to go. Either way, don't judge them for wearing something they like.

4 Fall Favorites!

I know I'm a little late, but happy fall y'all! I love fall fashion and my favorites never seem to go out of style (which is awesome).

My first favorite is sweaters. I mean who doesn't LOVE oversize sweaters and cardigans! I love the ones that have Aztec designs or just cute, unique patterns.

Scarfs are another one of my favorites. They're perfect! They keep you warm while also being a cute add-on for your outfit. I have so many and love them all!

What girl doesn't love a good pair of boots? Whether its riding boots or cowboy boots, I love them! I don't own a pair of riding boots yet, but I'm patiently waiting for the day i get a pair!

And last but not least, my main favorite thing about fall: HUNTING SEASON! Yes, I'm one of "those" girls. It's by far one of the greatest seasons of all!

XOXO,
